Bronze plaque made for the Romanian General Exhibition of 1906, organized in honor of the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the reign of King Carol I.
On the obverse, two female personifications were represented, one of art and the other of science, offering a blacksmith a painting palette and an olive branch. On the lower band we find the names of the two engravers R. Cizek and Resch inscribed.
On the reverse, in a medallion, the effigy of King Carol I was represented in relief, which has a personification of victory next to it. Next to it were inscribed the years of the king’s reign 1866-1906 and the fact that it was offered to OUR COLLABORATORS.
