B and G Coins was originally founded in 1977 by Paul Baker and Nick George
From coin collecting Nick was to learn all his dates and monarchs in history. This helped him with history exams at school and later for his PhD in Ancient and Medieval History.
In the early days we exhibited at the National Motorcycle Museum, The Cumberland Hotel Marble Arch and Strathmore Hotel Luton fairs. It was here that we learnt our trade.
With the advent of the Web, B and G Coins went digital, the webshop was born.
We are proud to maintain a 5-star rating for Both B and G Coins and The Watchaholic Co. (added in 2022), on both TrustPilot and Google platforms.
Now in our 49th year, Nicks global reputation has seen him doing many BBC broadcasts on coins and work with Auction Houses, Museums, insurers, Solicitors and the Police Art squad.
